This Saturday, February 28th Quercus will be attending the Madison Area Woodland Owners Conference which will be held at the American Family Insurance Training Center in Madison. Presentations will focus on oak woodland management, planning and caring for wetlands and ponds, Native American influence on woodlands, milestones in forestry conservation management, and managing large animal wildlife. Come check out Quercus’ booth and chat with our staff about your land management questions or needs! The Tallgrass Prairie and Oak Savanna Fire Science Consortium is holding their 2nd Midwest Fire Conference February 17-19th 2015 in Dubuque, Iowa. There will be over 40 speakers this year emphasizing fire ecology and fire effects, prescribed fire planning, and lessons learned from prescribed fire implementation. Quercus will have a booth,  stop by to say hello between the presentations. Hope to see you there! Registration for the conference is still open!
